Toronto native Rob DaBoom's 35+ year musical journey traces back to the late eighties. 1992 he began hosting and producing "The Raw Energy Experience", an overnight radio program on the community radio station CHRY 105.5 FM.  He later regularly played on the much larger Global Groove Network 100.7FM.

 

His journey has included witness to the birth of Toronto's rave culture in the early 90's, which he fully immersed himself in, both through event and music production. His true love is and always will be house music yet his appreciation of musical expression has given him the opportunity to experience and experiment with all types of "dance music" including disco, techno, jungle, trance and hip hop. He has played events both at home and abroad,  playing alongside international talents such as Masters At Work, David Morales, Todd Terry, Eminem and many others.

Currently Rob hosts "The Journey" a weekly 12 hour Twitch livestream every Saturday exclusively on twitch.tv/robdaboom as well as a rotating residency on David Morales' Sunday Mass.
